Parent Survey-indv. project

After getting feedback from my students, I decided to try the same of the parents. I typed up and printed a survey with some questions for the parents. I sent it home in the student's planners and waited for their responses. Out of 11 students, only 2 parents returned the survey completed. I was not pleased with the results that did come back. Neither parent checked the school website or attempted to do bonus work (our school's optional homework)and only 1 of the 2 would actually use the site to check up on their student.

for my individual class project, I wanted to create a website. My school is becoming more technologically advanced; using our school website in as many ways as possible and I wanted to contribute. I knew many of my students enjoyed using the computer and I wanted them to have an out of school connection to my classroom.
